Graduated in Meteorology from the Federal University of Pelotas (2003). Arrived to the INPE at the early March 2003 for Master in Meteorology and had her PhD in Meteorology at INPE in 2014. Ariane was an operational seasonal climate forecaster at the Climate Prediction Group at CPTEC for 4 years. She used to teach climate, statistics and environmental pollution at State University of São Paulo – UNESP in 2014-2015. Nowadays she is a researcher at Research and Development Division at CPTEC-INPE. She is working with regional modeling with BRAMS.
