How to Send Email to BRAMS Mailing List

About:

The aim of the Brams Mailing is to be a eletronic way to connect the BRAMS Users Community allowing to registered users to send news, events announcements and general questions about the BRAMS.

The BRAMS Team uses the mailing list for announcements of new versions, major updates and other general information.

When an email is sent to the mailing list, it is automatically fowarded to all the registered users in the list. Please, fell free to replay the emails to the list and contribute with your experience and knowledge to others users.

How to Subscribe the BRAMS Mailing List:

To subscribe the BRAMS mailing list, send an email to

major@cptec.inpe.br

with the following text in email:

subscribe brams_list <email address>

the <email address> is your email.

If the email address you wrote in message is a valid email, you will receive two emais. The first has the subject:

Majordomo results: subscribe brams_list <email address>

This email is a replay to your subscribe request. It says that your request was received and explain the authentication process you need to do for complete the subscribe to mailing list. To authenticate your request, you need the second email that will be sent to the <email address> and has the subject:

Confirmation for subscribe brams_list

This email explain the authentication process. To resume then, send a email to major@cptec.inpe.br, with the following text:

auth <authentication code> subscribe brams_list <email address>

This line must be copied from the "confirmation" email.

To unsubscribe the email list, send a email to major@cptec.inpe.br with the text:

unsubscribe brams_list <email address>
